Registration is now open for the 2008 summer and fall programs at Gan Yeladim, the early childhood program of Ezra Habonim, the Niles Township Jewish Congregation in Skokie. The program serves children ages 2 to 5 and their families. Our program is open from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. We offer half and full day programs, as well as early morning drop-off, a lunch program and afternoon enrichment classes. We pride ourselves on our low teacher-child ratio and our warm, nurturing environment. We seamlessly integrate Judaica, literacy, math, science, art, music and drama into our developmental, play based curriculum.

 

We have been in existence for 40 years. We now have children whose parents were once our students. Many thousands of Jewish adults got their start at Gan Yeladim. We are proud to be the starting point for children’s on-going Jewish Education.

 

We offer an open invitation for interested families to visit us, talk with the director, Betsy Rotberg, and view the facility. Visiting hours are from 10:00-11:30 daily.     Nine Month Half and Full Day Programs

     

    Payment Information

    We require a deposit of what will be your last month’s tuition payment to ensure your child’s place in the program.  This will cover your tuition for the final month your child is in school.  Your deposit will not be refunded after June 1.   $25 will be deducted from your deposit if you withdraw before June 1.

     

    If your child is currently enrolled in the school you may choose to have your deposit from this year carried over to next year.  Please indicate this on the enrollment form.  There is a one time only supply fee of $60 which will be added to your September bill.

     

    All fees are to be paid monthly. You will be billed at the beginning of each month.  Tuition is due by the 15th of each month.  There will be a $25 late fee after the 15th of the month. Your cooperation is appreciated.

     

    There is a 10% discount off the total tuition  for two or more children in the program.

    Daycare Programs

    The daycare fee is arrived at by adding the daycare amount to the monthly half day (morning) program amount. 

     

    To understand the table below, read it as follows: 

    Ÿ         The 1st column is your monthly half day (morning) fee.

    Ÿ         The 2nd column is your monthly daycare (early morning/afternoon) fee, depending on the number of daycare days you have per week.

    Ÿ         The 3rd column is the total of both fees and is your monthly total.
